TGM Anchor Point is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We actively work to meet recognized accessibility standards and welcome feedback that helps us improve.
We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information about our community — whether you are a prospective resident, a current resident, or a member of the public. We are committed to providing a website experience that is accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We regularly review and update our site to address accessibility issues and incorporate improvements as technology and standards evolve.
Our website is built and maintained with the goal of conforming to the following standards and guidelines:
WCAG 2.2 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, published October 2023) is the current internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. It is organized around four principles: content must be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR).
ADA Title III requires places of public accommodation — including apartment communities and their websites — to provide equal access to individuals with disabilities. We take this obligation seriously.
The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing on the basis of disability. This includes ensuring that information about our community, available units, and leasing processes is accessible to all prospective and current residents.
Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic HTML elements so screen readers can navigate content logically.
All interactive elements including navigation menus, forms, and buttons are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse.
Meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them appropriately.
Text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios — a minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
Keyboard focus is visually indicated on all interactive elements so users navigating by keyboard always know where they are on the page.
All forms — including our contact form, tour scheduling, and leasing inquiry forms — include properly labeled fields and error identification.
Text can be resized up to 200% using browser settings without loss of content or functionality.
Links are written to make sense out of context. We avoid generic link text like "click here" or "read more" in favor of descriptive text.
While we strive for full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance, we acknowledge the following known limitations that are currently in the process of being addressed:
